When I started the hcg diet it was on the premise of experimenting to see if I would lose the two things that the diet touts... pounds and inches. I was skeptical that eating 500 calories a day and taking a homeopathic dropper under my tongue would do jack diddly squat, but as you can see in my videos throughout the journey as well as in the empirical data above that it did exactly that! I lost almost 35 pounds in 35 days on the diet and dropped inches from every single part of my body! So my summary of the hcg diet is that not only does it work, but it works amazingly well! If you are looking for a diet to drop weight fast and safely, then I would encourage the hcg diet.

I'm pretty happy with with the entire experience to date. I know I'll continue to lose weight as I get back into the gym and start hitting cardio and circut training and I know my journey to become healthy and fit again has only just barely started, but the loss of over 33 lbs of weight right up front has been incredible. It's been a huge jump start to my journey. I can move about easier, I feel invigorated and have tons of energy now. In fact, I wake up at 4:30 AM and have energy all day long until about 9-10 PM when I go to bed! That has been one of the biggest differences that I've experienced! I used to crash out about 1 PM or 2 PM for a little nap because I was so dang tired, and now I have more energy than I know what to do with!

Yeah baby! I love seeing big weight loss when I step on the scale... especially at this late stage of my hcg diet phase 2. I lost 1.4 lbs over the last 24 hours and I even weighed in about two hours ahead of when I normally do!

The weight loss is really slowing down compared to what it was like at the beginning of the hcg diet, but that's good. It means that I don't have a ton more to lose honestly. With that said however, I did lose close to another whole pound today! I'm really happy with a .8 lbs weight loss today which brings my total weight down to 203.8 lbs. Check it out...

Breaking Through Your hCG Diet Weight Loss Plateau

I've had a lot of people ask me how to break through plateaus on phase 2 of the hcg diet. I tell them all the same thing: stay disciplined and strict with your diet. Make sure you're consuming 500-530 calories per day of only approved food and stay hydrated. Drink tons of water! You may want to drop coffee from your diet and substitute a vitamin B complex for energy as well as an immune system booster. Lastly, you may want to also cut the cracker servings out of your lunch and dinner for a day or two. Some people just don't lose weight with the added carbohydrates. If that doesn't break a plateau within a day or two or if the person is already doing all of those things, then I always suggest doing an hcg diet phase 2 Apple Day. If that doesn't work, as a last resort I suggest the hcg diet phase 2 mini steak day... and I really mean as a last resort!

Yup, I really think I'm back on track now! I lost .9 lbs in the last 24 hours and 1.2 lbs yesterday... so I've yet to do an apple day. I've been looking for an excuse to do one, but right when I think that tomorrow is the day I have a few really good days with big losses. Maybe I'll do one just so I can experience what it's like and be able to explain it to everyone else wanting to know how to break through a plateau. Whoa! I gained almost a full pound (.8 lbs) over the last 24 hours. I've been pretty disciplined with my meals and all around diet, but for some reason the weigh in this morning was quite a bit higher than expected. It's the way it goes though. Some days it's up like today and other days my weight is way down. I'm hovering in the 206 range, but I'm still confident I'll hit my goal weight of 200 lbs.

Today's weight loss was really pretty minimal, but I hit a really cool milestone! I'm down' 30 lbs from when I started the diet! I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate! I think I'll go prepare myself a super yummy tuna spinach salad and top it off with a little stevia for sweetness! LOL, not much of a celebration I know, but I'm dedicated to my hcg diet and determined to hit my goal of 200 lbs by April 21. Come hell or high water that's what's going to happen dangit!
